1. Bi-Directional Control (Active Test) Functions, Further Diagnostic on Cars.
The Bi-Directional Control (Active Test) function offers a solution for diagnosing issues with your car. The Autel MaxiIM IM508S is an advanced automotive key programming tool capable of accessing and performing OE-Level diagnosis on all available vehicle modules such as PCM, ECM, EPS, PDM, BCM, TPM, SCCM, and more. It covers all major systems, including but not limited to ABS, SRS, Engine, Transmission, Brake System, and so on. Additionally, it offers several useful functions such as：
- Read Codes – Displays detailed information of DTC records, including manufacturer-specific codes, pending codes, permanent codes
- Clear Codes – Clear codes, reset monitors and turn off warning lights
- Live Data – Retrieves and displays live data and parameters, including misfire, engine rpm, transmission fluid temperature and etc.
- Freeze Frame – Retrieve the parameters when recording the DTC for better diagnosis.
